Meet Will, one of our Motorcycle Sales Consultants at Badlands. Will's passion for motorcycles dates back to his childhood, where he rode dirt bikes and developed a fascination for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Will has been working in the motorcycle industry for quite some time. He started as a Parts Sales Associate at here at Badlands when it was still known as Harley-Davidson of Medicine Hat.
What drew Will to motorcycles and the Harley-Davidson brand was his love for two wheels (with the added bonus of a motor) and he believes that nothing beats the sound of a Harley. His first memorable experience involving motorcycles was riding on his dad's friend's ultra classic as a child, even though his dad rode a Honda. Currently, Will owns a 2004 Harley Davidson Wide Glide, which was his first street bike. His dream bike is either a Road Glide Special or a Street Glide Special.
One of Will's favourite work memories is riding all the different models of Harley-Davidson motorcycles when he worked as a technician. The best aspect of working at Badlands for Will is the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life who share a common love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

"I've been working in the motorcycle industry for over 20 years, with 15 years at Calgary Harley-Davidson, and 2 years at Crowsnest Trail Harley-Davidson, and now coming up on 2 years at Badlands Harley-Davidson.
I've been riding since I was 14, and currently own a 2000 Road King, and a 2008 Dyna Street Bob. One of my earliest motorcycle memories was taking a trip on the bike to California in 1983 and visiting Mount ST. Helen to the devastation from the eruption. Although I don't have a dream bike, I am particularly fond of Dynas, especially the Street Bob. One of my favorite work memories is meeting my wife, who was the Motor-Clothes Manager at the time.
The best aspect of working a Badlands Harley-Davidson is walking in every day and seeing all the bikes. After all these years, I still love what I do and enjoy meeting new people every day!"

Meet Taryn, one of the newest members of our team at Badlands. Taryn's passion for motorcycles began a few years ago when her father bought his first bike, and since then, she has been fascinated by the culture and lifestyle that surrounds it.
Although Taryn is new to the industry, she is eager to learn and grow. What drew her to the Harley-Davidson brand was the strong sense of empowerment that comes with being a part of the team. Taryn believes that working at Harley-Davidson will not only help her become a safer rider but also provide her with the knowledge she needs to select proper equipment.
Taryn's most memorable experience involving motorcycles was the day her father brought home his first bike. She remembers how he sat in the garage admiring and revving the engine for hours, completely lost in the new bike euphoria.
While Taryn currently does not own a bike, she hopes to ride one in the future. Her dream bike is a Sportster.
Taryn loves working at Badlands because of her empowering and incredible coworkers. She is excited to make connections with like-minded individuals and be a part of a team that shares her passion for motorcycles.

"I've been involved in powersports including motorcycles, for as long as I can remember. I've been riding bikes for over 50 years, starting with dirt bikes as a kid, and now owning a Road Glide Special and a Kawasaki KDX220. I've been a licensed auto mechanic for 27 years, and for the past 3 years, I've been working at Badlands Harley-Davidson. I love the product and my awesome coworkers.
My first memorable experience involving a motorcycle was riding in the coulees as a kid. My dream Harley-Davdison motorcycle is a Road Glide Special, which I'm lucky enough to own! One of my favorite work memories is "Chinese Food Fridays". On a personal note, I've been touring on my Road Glide since 2005 and have traveled extensively through 15 states and 3 Provinces.

"I've been in the Powersports industry for 46 years, and have been at Badlands Harley-Davidson for 27 years. My love of riding bikes started when my neighbor gave me my first bike in 1969. I've owned a few bikes over the years, but my current ride is the 1995 Dyna Convertible. One of my most memorable experiences was when I picked my bike at the Harley-Davidson Dealer Show. I've always been drawn to motorcycles because I love riding, and it's been my passion for many years!"

"I've been around motorcycles my entire life, but I've owned my own bike for 6 years now. I've been working in the motorcycle industry for 2 years, and I've been a part of the team at Badlands for a year.
Growing up in a family of motorcycle enthusiasts, I naturally gravitated towards Harley-Davdison as they've always been a part of my life. My first memories of motorcycles were watching old Discovery Channel motorcycle building shows as a child. I currently own 2 bikes but, I'm a big fan of the Softtail Standard and would love to own one someday.

Dane is a true motorcycle enthusiast, having been involved in the sport for over 13 years. He brings his extensive knowledge and love of riding to his role at Badlands, where he has been working for over a month. Dane's passion for motorcycles stems from his father, who introduced him to the world of two-wheeled riding at a young age. From his first dirt biking experience in the mountains to his first bike trip with his dad, Dane has been hooked on motorcycles ever since.
Dane is a proud owner of several bikes, including a 2011 YZ 250F, a 1992 Heritage Softail, and a 2015 Fat Boy Lo. His dream bike is a custom Shovelhead with 45-degree raked forks. Dane's favorite work memory is the spring season opener event, where he had the opportunity to share his enthusiasm for motorcycles with fellow riders. He appreciates the opportunity to work with bikes and riders at Badlands and is dedicated to helping others find the same joy and passion he has for the sport.
