2023 Harley Davidson Breakout Cruiser
The Breakout was one of the most popular models in the legendary brand's traditional cruiser line-up. It shouldn't be too shocking to learn that an all-new 2023 Harley Davidson Breakout is now available to buy in Dunsmore, AB, just a short drive from Medicine Hat. Even though the return of the 2023 Breakout is welcome news, the returning model represents a substantial update with revised styling, some changes to the ergonomics, and the inclusion of a new 117ci V-twin engine.
About that engine
The previous incarnation of the Breakout featured a 114ci V-twin engine that got dropped in favour of a Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin unit with the most torque in the factory-installed, regular-production Harley-Davidson line-up. This engine does feature elsewhere in the current Harley family, but the Breakout is a lighter and more aggressive bike that will showcase this engine to its full potential.
Revised styling
The low-slung styling of the previous version of the Breakout remains, but the whole look is considerably updated. The 2023 breakout boasts some stylish new wheels, more chrome detailing than before, and there's a new 18.9-litre fuel tank featuring a chrome instrument console mounted on the top. That new gas tank holds 5.7 litres more fuel than the previous 13.2 litre unit, significantly increasing the range of the new model.There's also a change to the riding position to make it more comfortable, thanks to some polished stainless steel handlebar risers that raise the chrome bars by 19mm. And if chrome is your thing, you'll love the addition of chrome-finished rear fender supports, side covers, muffler shields, turn signals, mirrors, and intake manifold. The new wheels are 26-spoke cast aluminum, but this time they're finished in a striking gloss black with machined details.
The bike itself is available in Vivid Black, Black Denim, Baja Orange, and Atlas Silver, with Vivid Black examples costing less than the other three available colours. And to bring the Breakout right up to date with other cruisers in today's Harley Davidson family, the all-new 2023 model is also equipped with traction control and cruise control.
